This little guy was so much fun to make! A friend asked for some Pokemon ball cupcakes and a Pikachu character cake for her son's birthday. Yes - we both know that Pokemon is
so 1990's... but it was her son's
favorite thing in the 90's - and this was a little surprise for his 20th birthday dinner. I hope he got a kick out of it! The Pikachu was vanilla pound cake (to help sculpt those rounded edges) and the cupcakes were chocolate with buttercream icing. I'm hoping to do a casino themed cake for this friend next month... stay tuned!

They look great. My 10yr old Son loves pokemon. I would love to use the cupcake idea. Unsure if I could do the pikachu cake..that looks hard to do.
